My first attempt. Ink and gesso. I love the darkness of the ink but it tends to come up in subsequent layers.






I nixed this and painted a great ground over most of the image.










My second attempt I mixed a waterproof ink with acrylic paint. Better coverage power, still problems with dripping though.
